The plans for today

Today is going to be a pretty adventurous day, after I finish my two classes I'm going to be picking up some friends and my hockey stuff and then heading to merrickville. We are going to merrickville to play hockey on the outdoor rink until the time to go to the bears game rolls around. The reason I'm excited to go and do this is mainly because I've been sick for the last week and haven't been able to skate on the pond or anything so it's my first time skating freely in a while.

Christmas Break

I'm extremely excited for christmas break, the main reason for this is because of all the pond hockey I get to play. Also I haven't had alot of time to hangout with some friends that just got back from halifax so I'm more than likely gonna spend a few days catching up with old friends which will most likely be a good time. I'm pretty excited to see what I'm getting for christmas aswell, I have a good idea of what my parents are getting me but I imagine there will be a suprise or two.

Business Class

In business class the stuff we usually do is simple and boring. The reason I say this is because it is usually desk work. Yesterday was definitely an exception as our teacher had us play monopoly without talking. It would of been alot more fun if she had let us play it the normal way, but I'm not going to complain about playing monopoly inclass. The objective of the game was to instead of working against eachother, work together to collect properties. How this worked was one person had to collect a block of houses another had to collect all the utilities and another had to collect railroads. This game taught us that it is fairly difficult to communicate without talking however it can be done with a little bit of effort.

Instagram set-back

After Instagram deciding they would delete all the account that they believed were bots many legitimate users were banned. Along with everyone losing a serious number of followers (justin bieber with over 3 million followers lost. The reason for the set-back was because people would use bots to get on the popular page to get real followers and it wasn't fair to everyone else. I feel as if their attempt was really flawed as the bots can just recreate a bunch of users and aside from they many actual people including myself lost their instagram accounts. This upset me quite a bit even though I didn't use it often it was nice having 18k active followers.

The Interview cancelled

After putting 42 million dollars into the film "The Interview" Sony pictures has decided to cancel the cinema release of the movie altogether. After getting numerous threats from the sony hackers about what would happen if they did release the movie. I'm not sure exactly what was said in the email but it must of been pretty bad if they were willing to lose 42 million dollars over it. I think it is very disappointing that it has come to them not releasing this film as I was very excited to go and watch it.

Feminism (Misandry) in our world today

Recently I have been seeing alot of controversy on facebook about equal rights (Between sexes). Personally I am all for equal right, but most of these posts are just putting down men and not justifying how to equalify the situation. Alot of these females that claim to be "Feminist" are actually misandrists and are commonly just creating an arguement to put men down. These people aren't focusing on equal rights, they're fighting to be the more powerful sex. It all just doesn't make sense to me, you don't get equality by putting down everyone else. They need to take a different approach away from all this hatred towards men. They claim that all men rape and other ridiculous stuff, They act like men haven't ever been raped or taken advantage of. They also act like men have never been cat-called before. It just sickens me to see that it's gotten to the point where woman feel that it's appropriate to post this kind of content all over their facebook. It's a fight for equal rights, not over empowerment. Men get paid more in physical jobs for a reason, Males are generally stronger than woman and can indure in most circumstances more weight which means they can physically carry more. Sure it might be unfair that they get paid more, but theres more demand within jobs for men. There are also alot of jobs that woman are better at that they do get paid more for, It's equality you don't see men complaining that a woman gets paid more than them for selling real estate. No matter your sexual preference or your sex in general, you get paid for the work you put in. Overall feminism is a great thing and woman do deserve equal rights, but I hate the fact that misandrists are claiming to be feminists just so they can attack the male population. Feminism needs to continue and misandry needs to stop.
